We are the Indian Women in 3D Printing Society, and Ignite Light is our declaration—the first luxury product conceived, designed, and engineered entirely by women technologists in India.

Our Philosophy

When Women Engineer Beauty

We exist at a rare intersection: where computational algorithms meet centuries-old craft, where the precision of technology embraces the warmth of heritage, where women who code also create objects of profound beauty.

Our journey began with ancient Indian filigree—those impossibly intricate works where master artisans spent lifetimes transforming precious metals into delicate lacework. We studied these traditions not to replicate them, but to understand the human impulse they represent: the need to transform utility into art, function into meaning.

Then we asked a different question: What if we could honor this legacy using the tools shaping tomorrow? What if algorithms designed by women could generate patterns of complexity beyond human hands? What if 3D printing could materialize geometries that traditional methods would take decades to achieve? What if computational design could become an extension of artisanal tradition rather than its replacement?

The answer is Filigree—our first collection, and our opening statement in an ongoing conversation about what women in technology can create when given the tools, the space, and the belief that technical excellence and aesthetic mastery are not separate pursuits, but one.

We are not a lighting company that supports women in technology. We are women in technology, creating products that compete on design, innovation, and craftsmanship with any luxury brand in the world. Each piece we create demonstrates that women don't need special categories or qualified praise. We need access, belief, and the freedom to build.

Revenue from every Ignite purchase flows back into the Indian Women in 3D Printing Society's mission: training the next generation of women designers and engineers in computational design, advanced manufacturing, and the courage to create without permission.

We don't ask for support because we're women. We've earned it because our work is exceptional.
